More specifically,

I just finished a clutch & O-ring transplant. Definitely a project I should not have shoe horned into an already WAAAY too busy work schedule.

Does this look about right? I don't remember the pivot pin sitting this proud. Of course, it's one of the few things I didn't take a picture of before tearing it apart.

I do have more of a whirring noise from the final drive now, I think. I might just be too paranoid....

Thanks!

Chuck

Yea, something doesn't look right with that.

I looked at both of mine and they are only about 1.5 to 2 threads showing max.

Wow- that was fast!

Thanks!

Hmmmm, I guess I shouldn't just get out the grinder and grind the pivot down to size. The rear end coming off would be hard to explain to the girlfriend in the hack. Laughing

It's possible that upon reassembly you switched it with the left swing arm pivot under the left peg plate.

(Not that I've ever done that.) Laughing
