Is is soft rubber or harder plastic?
1/4" OD or ID.
I removed a 6" piece that was a vent drain for the original liquid lead acid battery. It wasn't hooked up to anythin on either end near the rear of the battery.
It wasn't quite 1/4" though. _________________ Ride safe.

1/4" ID and soft. First thing I thought of was a battery drain, but the bike has a gel type.
To your point, maybe it was just left over when the battery was replaced. _________________ '93 K1100LT

That's the vital spline cooling tube. You'll have to tear it apart to refit. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

Looks like the tubing that goes over the battery hold down bolt. _________________ Paul - '93 K11/12RS (sold), 2002 R1100S BCP and '03 RC51 KOG 29 |

I'm not falling for that, ask your granddaughter to use spline in a sentence other than relating to a K Bike. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT
