It is quite colder than 32F... This meeting is always hold at the coldest places in the middle of Norway. Is it hotter then minus 10 Celcius (14F) they are dissapointed. -20 Celcius (-4 F) and lower is more normal.
The Krystallrally is hold in a hotell, so they sleeps well before the long jurney back home starts at sunday, some all the way to southern Europe.

But on this rally, Primustreffet, only tenting is allowed and no other luxury are aviable. They just meet in the wood last weekend in february. The 35`this year. Same cold..

Ok, you people from Norway are my official heroes.

That might be the most insanely fun thing I have ever seen. And the bikes with their modifications look really cool. I would love to have an enduro like a Dakar in conditions like that.

Anyone notice this K:

OK! That takes balls! WOW! Somehow, I just can't picture riding around in temps that low - and camping out in all that snow. Yeah, it looks like fun in a way - but I'm not sure I'm cut out for it. Although I guess it's just the flip side of me riding around the west and southwest in the hottest parts of the summer...

I looked, perhaps missed, seening any K11 bikes with HANDGUARDS that I might be able to purchase. So far, have had many suggestions about handguards, but no one here in the USA has told me that they have actually installed what they are recommending, on a K1100LT or RS.
