Hi Guys

Just a polite hello and invite into the virtual bar area for a beer on me Very Happy

I've just joined the site and so far enjoyed reading a great many interesting posts.

I've been riding (and driving) all sorts of petrol driven monsters for some years now both professionally and privately. I've had most of the wrist breaking sports bikes but have never enjoyed myself more than on a K1100LT.

I rode one of these on 'Blues' and in anger for a number of years at incredible speeds without incident (except for the smile twice the width of my face)!

My latest 'find' is the third K11 to have entered my garage. I say 'find' because that's exactly what it is..........a 1996 LT SE with a genuine 5,000 miles on the clock. It's previous owner found it too big and heavy so garaged it for 8 years and covered only 3,000 miles? I managed to release it from his grip but only at a price.

Enough about me and the bike for now, role up the beers are on me, but not if you're riding.

Please don't ask for photo's, that would make my head hurt!

hi mate i've got an ex police k110 giving me nothing but problems since i got it but working though them mainly because of the why it was decommissioned hoping to have it back on the road by the end of next week where in the midlands are you i'm about to move to stafford

As for the pics, I will have a go but just don't laugh!

As for facebook, not taken that plunge as I've seen and heard of a great many horror stories there.

I'll do the pictures over the weekend, I promise.

Had the bike serviced today. 6000 miles at 14 years old, not bad. Had some raised eyebrows from the BMW dealership regarding mileage. Also had a n offer to buy the bike from someone collecting their machine following service. He offered me £5000!??
