Subject says it all. Split right down the middle. Replacements are cheap and plentiful, but I'm curious if anyone has brewed up a substitute at home. Thanks. - PZ

I've seen a hack with a "piano hinge" but that kind of defeats the purpose of the "break away" feature of the original design, and being able to "rehinge" on the side of the road... BTDT.
