The shifter on my bike is driving me crazy. It's too short and doesn't stick out far enough, so I have to bend my ankle at a strange angle to shift consistently. Does anyone make replacement shifters? Anyone changed theirs and can recommend something to resolve this? I kinda miss the rocker shifter on my old Harley but there isn't any room to install one of those... _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.

Minimum shipping charge to Germany is 2x the price of the piece. I think not. Thanks anyway. _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.

I found the same thing in Germany, just €6.90 shipping, and they also had the brake lever enlarger so I bough that too. Price was about the same. _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.

Got it installed, and it is better, but I still think the bike needs a longer shifter with a wider front piece. I think I might use a 3D printer to do a prototype, size it and then use it to create a negative mold from which I can make a new shifter. _________________ To err once is human. I am definitely going to need a replacement shifter. I need something longer, more of an upward angle and to stick farther out. I am now wearing special orthopedic boots, and it's impossible to use the shifter correctly. I am guessing I will have to have one machined for me. _________________ To err once is human.
