Hi. My 1992 K1100LT's speedo is generally indicating around 60 kmh when the vehicle is stationary & the ignition is off & key removed. In motion it will increase when 60 is reached but does not indicate correctly relative to the actual speed, it'll read 80 when doing 100 . The Rev counter is exhibiting similar behavior but a fix to the Rev counter is not that important to me.
Every thing else is working as expected.
Any suggestions on a fix will be great fully received. _________________ "The only thing I know is that I know nothing" |

Guessing here, but it happens, The "glue" that holds the black faceplate to the cluster can come loose, and the faces will bubble up and make the needles stick.
To remove cluster you have to remove the windshield mount and you can then unbolt and remove it.there are allen head bolts holing it on, and a small allen head holding the electrical connector on it. _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled
