| Hello All . I'm wanting to locate the Ignition module on my 1995 LT . Clymers states it is located on the side of the Battery mounting box , my 95 only has a plate the battery is mounted on . The other location is under the tank . I've had that off and haven't been able to find it there either . Any one have any information I can try ? The bike has 60,000 miles on it and was stalling occasionally , Let it rest and it would fire and no problem . the last time it stalled , that was it , dead . Hall sensor was changed a year ago by a BMW mechanic , side stand switch has been bypassed . I bought the bike with 5000 on it and heat sink paste has never been changed . I have a module replacement , but I can't change it if I can't find it . |

Now I ride a '92 K100RS4V, so I might be mistaken but I believe that after '93 the module was eliminated.
Hopefully an 1100 owner will come along. _________________ John & Cathy

It is listed in the 1100 parts fiche, but it is also noted that it was only used up to 7/93...... _________________ Ride safe.

I appreciate the info , I haven't seen that notation and I will check it out . I will call the mechanic that has serviced my bike in the past and see if he will let me pick his knowledge base . I understand he isn't working on bikes any longer . I need to get my LT up and running again I can't stand having my wings clipped |

As you scroll down the parts listing in the right pane, you will notice the notations with the part descriptions.
re: Realoem, if you look at the picture, the module is shown, but the part is not listed in the parts table below except for model year 06/93 or earlier. Then it is also shown in the 'up to' column as up to 07/93. _________________ Ride safe.
