They will come out of the triple tree and clear the floor if you just prop up the front of the engine to get the wheel off, you're ready to go once the rest of the stuff is off the forks, fender, caliper, etc. _________________ Paul W.

When you reinstall the ABS sensor, be sure to route its wire so that is does not get rubbed by the tire. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

| Came to a sudden stop..the abs sensor is stuckfast to the fork leg. I only tipped and tapped around it, but looks like it doesn't want to move. Any advice? I don't want to whack it, cus it probably costs more than the bike:( |

You should be able to trace the wire back up to the harness and disconnect it, so that you can just leave the sensor in the fork but still be able to remove the fork.
As it's most likely aluminum corrosion that has it bound up, you could try some pb-blaster, or kroil, or a little bit of heat, but that can cause more damage if your not careful. _________________ Ride safe.

As underscore noted, you can simply not remove it.
I always preheat those wit ha small torch prior to removal and then when replacing them I use SS socket cap Allen heads and some anti-seize on the threads in case they ever need to be removed again in the future. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
