So, somewhere in every maintenance schedule, it somewhere says to check for loose fasteners. I did a quick search and didn't find anything here so thought I'd ask the brain trust. Don't know that i'd use it as a checklist, but looking for info.
What has vibrated loose on you? Something fall off? A saftey issue?
I havent been with the group long, I noticed my instrument cluster vibrated, a lot! I pulled it off the check the speedo and tach, and found one of the 4 allen heads holding it missing, two vey loose, and one loose. It was bouncing like crazy.
What have you found loose, or missing? _________________ 2014 R1200RT Water Cooled

On my previous K-RS, two of the 8 screws that hold the fairing bottom to the sides went missing..... _________________ John & Cathy

+1 for exhaust header bolts
On my LT the rubber backrest (that is mounted on the tail storage box) blew off on US-101. I understand others have also experienced this joy. Luckily I found it the next day on the shoulder of the highway & fixed it back up.
