Several weeks ago (maybe September, but not earlier) we bought a Cree LED screw in lamp for above our kitchen table. We use it about 8 hours each day.
2 days ago it crapped out.
These LED lights are supposed to have about 50,000 hours of life. This one didn't have 500.
Excellent. _________________ John & Cathy

The Crees are one of the top three out there. Bridgelux and Philips are the other two. Working with a lot of LEDs at work I find that more often than not it is the crappy driver that dies not the LED.
Not that this helps you much. _________________ Rich
