Anybody out there that's installed a Remus exhaust purchased the booster plug they're trying to sell me? Supposedly helps with smoother throttle response and reduces "puffing" on deceleration with after market exhausts. Thoughts?

Never heard of such a thing.

Both of my bikes have back "popping" when decelerating. The remus is more pronounced and the stock is just muffled more, but I can still hear it.

You aren't referring to the infamous "chip" that is on eBay, are you?

I am with Scott (but on a different bike). Last year I bought a BMW Boxer Cup with Laser exhaust. It always had a pop/deep sound on deceleration.

Nothing bad and I started to expect it. From what I have read, it is due to a less restrictive exhaust.

Anyway, IMHO these relatively primitive F.I. engines do not respond to tuner boxes of any kind.
