Hi All,
Just joined as recommended by an excellent BMW forum in the UK.
I have just bought a K1100RS 1994 mystic red with about 42000 on the clock. Am planning to do a slow restore to make it look real great again.
So far have discovered the gear indicator going mad, looks like a big job to get to?
I also have an R1200RT ex police bike which is my main bike that I use for work as a bike instructor.
I live in Kent, UK, and have been riding since 1985. Have owned a K100LT, R80RT, 3x R1100RT, and 2X R1200RT.
Looking forward to learning lots about the K110's, and probably asking some stupid questions!
Cheers ! |

Enjoy the K11, SO much better engineered than the newer BMW offerings. _________________ Regards Tim,

WELCOME! Good to have you on the forum.
Once you have your K bike sorted you will find it to be a reliable and fast bike.
By the way, Mystic is THE fastest colour.

Only if allied with a BFD.
Still think Maroon / Grey (gray) has an air of authority & distinction though. _________________ Regards Tim,
