I am parting with my long time riding buddy. 80,000 miles. $2600
-Factory side cases.
-Factory expandable tank bag. No rain cover, but I've never had any issues with it.
-Factory ABS.
-Factory tool kit.
-Heated hand grips.
-Tail rack installed by myself with secondhand BMW parts. There are scratches on it from mounting a top case. I do not have a top case.
-Front and rear Bridgestone BT 023s with aprox. 1500 miles on them.
-K&N air filter.
-Staintune full stainless steel header and silencer.
-Odyssey sealed battery.
-Neoprene "fork socks" installed by myself to protect the fork seals. Never ever had a leak.
-Front Race Tech springs.
-Rear Ohlins shock with adjustable compression, dampening, and preload.
-Since I've owned the bike since 6k miles, it has had Amsoil in the engine, gearbox, and final drive.
-Rear wheel from a later model K1200RS. Much easier to find tires for. I still have the stock wheel if it is desired.
-There is damage to the bodywork and mirror on the right side from a gravel switchback driveway getting the best of me. The paint is coming off the front fender.
The paint is in pretty reasonable condition but looks kinda bad in the pictures as the driveway is being reflected. Some are a little fuzzy too as I'm not the photographer I thought I was....I blame the wind.
Cash only please. Test rides only if I have cash in my hand. Clean title in hand. Reach me at 97O. 47one. twenty-5 hundred with any questions. Thanks for your time Gents. Jade

Nice looking bike. It would look great in my garage... Why are you selling it?

Thanks.
After traveling on this bike for the past decade or so, I'm finding that I'm desiring a bike with a more upright riding position and more protection from the wind and rain (aka, getting old ). _________________ Jade

Would the RS not be so hot for touring?
thanks
