|
|
I was invovled in a discussion on this site, about 6 months ago (I think). It was a comparison of the plus/minuses of K11s versus K12s.
Bottom line is that a fellow K1200RS owner posted that he had improved the fuel mileage of his bike by installing an aftermarket ECU. He was claiming mid- to upper 40 MPG. As I recall the ECU was European sourced.
I've searched for that thread again and can't find it. Any help?
TIA. |

I tried searching by your name and it did not come up. Do you remember the name of the other party? _________________ 1997 K1100LT

John, thanks for looking. I'm afraid I don't recall who the other guy was. I was a lengthy debate into which we both entered rather late.
My inability to find it here makes me question whether or not I have the right message board! |

I think I recall such a thread over at BMWMOA but I have not gone looking for it.

I have seen a thread comparing the K11 to the K12, but it wasn't here. _________________ Ride safe.
