For anyone interested, Motorworks have just posted the following message on Facebook:

'We are very pleased to announce that due to changes in our insurance, we can now sell NEW PARTS to the USA and Canada. So, welcome to any American and Canadian riding chums out there. Why not look us up and experience the friendly, knowledgeable and first class service we supply to the many far-flung reaches of the world which now includes yours!'

I have no connection with Motorworks other than as a very satisfied customer.

I can get shit delivered to my home here in OZ from Motorworks cheaper than from in OZ, go figure.....

Similar story with my 12 year old Honda Accord car thing, I had a starter solenoid die on it, price from honda stealers was $450 just for the solenoid, I pulled it out and fixed it but got a spare from the good ole US of A for $45 delivered to my house. I rang the Honda stealer back and gave him the good news, 'but it's not the genuine part', ' you mean it doesn't have honda painted on it, sure but it does have the same factory markings and part number so all it missed out on was the loverly logo, I aint payin $405 for that mate"..... The original repaired one is still working like a beaut so the spare is in the glove box along with the necessary tools to swap out if needed Smile
