Over the years I have had three different causes of engine cutout issues, largely intermittent:
1. Sidestand switch - now bypassed.
2. Fuel tank/pump 4 pin connector: cleaned and closed up the female connectors for good fit.
3. Motronic connector under the seat: cleaned all of the pins. _________________ 1980 CB900FA

Yep, same here. Except I haven't bypassed the sidestand switch yet.
But still, have experienced the same causes. _________________ Ride safe.

It may be too soon to say but, I think I may have fixed my bike. I have over 200 miles on the thing with no problems. It also seems to pull harder at higher rpm at wot. I think the plug may have been limiting the voltage/amperage to the fuel pump. _________________ 1996 K1100rs "Helga"
