Thanks sweetie.
I'm sure I can do this.
I have Steve to back me up and a great local machine shop.

Kenma don't specifically list Oggys for the classic Ks but it might be worth an email to see if they can put something together for you.
Of course with the $A being so strong just now they might be a bit expensive over your side of the world |

Drake, I might be able to adapt something like this to address engine mounting = frame stress. :dunno

I just noticed that the frame-engine interface on the left side is different than the right.
Left = bolt > engine > frame
Right = bolt > frame > engine _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Put some heavy duty castors on the end to make it easier to get it into and out of the garage..... _________________ K1100RS '97

OK, I'm been looking for away to make the two points of contact as mentioned above. One point being the engine mount and the other on the frame above that.
I needed a heavy duty round tube clamp that would provide a means of attatchment without drilling into the frame.
I found this and like it a lot.

Now...will it also work on the right side with the radiator hose complication? _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

With 7+" of leverage I'd think some sort tripod mount would be in order. And make it out of unobtanium. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Those would be great. If anyone can do it...Shogs can. I was wondering how much damage would be sustained if I dropped my bike with Gwens HID mounts under the mirror. I am really not looking forward to it....
