Hi all, being a typical male , i have not read the instructions until the last minute & have already posted pic's & a tech question ( pannier related ) .
All things being equal, this prolly won't change
I purchased my K1100 sight unseen via ebay ,having had it delivered from 1000 odd miles away : this method having worked unspeakably well after procuring a Kawasaki KLR650 Tengai & Daihatsu Feroza the same way (the 4WD i still have, the kwaka making way for the big K)
Feel free to say g'day , leave a comment or completely ignore me |

CerebralKnievel,
WELCOME. We aren't that formal with rules and regulations, so have at it and post whatever.
Year and model of your "new" K1100?

Hi john , it is a K1100 LT , 8/97 model according to the BMW compliance plate ,
2/96 according to VIN search's (using the same # from the factory plate / identical # also stamped on the frame).
