I'm a new member from Vancouver, Canada. My name's Fernando Blendl, and I have a '93 K1100LT.

I'm a professional photographer and took a great shot of my bike using a very old lighting technique.

This is a studio shot. Soon I'll be on the road and will try to capture good shots from this beautiful province.

Fernando, WELCOME!

We have many here who photograph their K bike travels, but adding a pro to the ranks is great.

Looking forward to your posts.

John

I just got my first DSLR a couple of months back. Can you please tell me what settings you used for this shot ? Any development of image in Lightroom / Phototshop ?

Let me embarrass myself by guessing .... f/5.6, 200mm lens, ISO 100 ?

Canon 60D, f/2.8 17-55mm & f/2.8 70-200mm.

Good guess..

Canon 7D 85mm f/8
ISO 100
I started with the raw image then I used photoshop just to remove a few things, the bike was illuminated using a very old light painting technique.
