Looking good, nice to see it out and about again, it spent too long languishing on the yard, i'm happy knowing it's going to get the use it was intended for.
Hows your missus enjoying the pillion?, it's by far the comfiest bike i've ever had, only had one friend tell me she didn't think it was comfy but frankly i think she was being awkward cos she's a 'streetfighter, rolls eyes' fan and didn't like it on principal, it's the first bike i've ever seen her climb off after a 60 miles run without having to stretch her legs or grumble about her knees cramping though, Smile.
Cracking weather here today too, had a spin about on the little Armstrong, hope it sticks around a wee while longer.

Beautiful bike you have there, and a beautiful countryside. I well remember the spectacular beauty of the Scottish Highlands which I visited in 1993 or thereabouts. Drove up from the UK to Edinburgh, then on to Kinlochewe, where I stayed for a couple of days. Ate and drank in the pub, hiked about, took loads of pics, etc. The scotch broom was out and the hills were just gorgeous. I can't imagine a better bike for those ambling roads and the typical Scottish weather. Hard to believe it was 21 deg this time of year. Enjoy that fine-looking machine, mate. Smile

The Highlands are amazing, and start less than half an hour from here. Mike is lucky, he lives right next to Skye, the most awesome place in the world!!

Lesley is very happy the back- we are planning a run to the Black Forest later on in the year, and she's probably more exited about it than I am Smile

I've done about 800 miles on the LT so far,107,000+ miles now- daily commuting and weekend runs, and all is well so far. Stripped the back end to sort the gear indicator and grease the shaft, removed the exhaust to reweld the broken pipe (that was fun.... Confused - 3 broken studs.... holding for now, but I plan to take the head off to get the broken ones sorted properly) head bearings cleaned and regreased, and a few other bits and bobs. Next on the list is some paintwork and a new seat cover. Hope this weather holds!!

I'm hoping for a good run of this dry sunny stuff as well, true enough, it's gorgeous up here when the sun shines, shame the roads aren't quite as well maintained as they once were but all things considered we can't grumble too much, there are worse ones.
The studs were the main reason I never fitted the Remus system, about three times I soaked them in WD in prep for removing the old system and fitting the other, but fear of rusty road cack encrusted studs drove me away, LOL
On the plus side, new stud and bolt sets are cheap from motobins, the plan would have been to regularly cake the exposed bits in copper grease once changed.
Glad it's all going well and you're enjoying it and your missus too.
