Complete Remus stainless steel exhaust, headers to link pipe and slip on end can.
Comes with new studs and bolts, excellent condition, wasn't cheap.

Am in uk, can package and ship reasonable here, can send to us but shipping would be costly I imagine?

Could you also give an indication of getting it to Oz? The asking price is attractive Smile

It's already packaged do I'll get the weight and dimensions and a shipping cost to both us and oz, I'll put the details on in case you can arrange a cheaper courier from your side too.

Exhaust sold, cheers Paul, hope it sounds as nice as it looks.
Would love to see it once fitted and hear it running, I wish i'd braved the studs and fitted it when I had mine.

Sorry guys for not getting back with a shipping cost BTW, Oz was obscene and US I think was about £45, more if insured, (you may have been liable for import duties too?, i've been landed with those when i've purchased from the US), I did intend to get back with the figures but got snowed under with reams of other stuff and sorting out new bike and various spare bits for things, apologies again.

Yeah Oz is obscene when it comes to post/freight Sad

UK to Oz is 8GBP per 2.2 pounds.

US to Oz is much more once you don't fit a flat rate intnl box.

Damn those pipes look good, almost like polished copper on my screen.

Absolutely gorgeous......

But at least Oz is the home of Staintune Laughing

What sort of power loss do you get ditching the cat and stock pipes please?

best from sunny downunder where the mild Fall is here and the riding is excellent.

Which is great, except they don't list anything for bricks Sad

I think the colour is mostly a reflection of the timber colour in the area.

That is kinda weird coz my mate has a K12rs with Staintune and boy do they SOUND GOOD.

Instead of a muted Purrring of power, his bike emits a muted snarl reminiscent of a Ferrari Wink

Well, a K1200 isn't exactly a K1100, now is it? Seems like they cover just about every BM made, except for bricks. Well, not quite every.

Well actually they have the same header setup, the motors are almost identical in architecture, just K12rs has the upswept exhaust muffler and a bigger cat.

Importantly though the header setup is the same.

The Staintune for the K12 has no cat and the upsweep could be reduced with a little TIG welding work and maybe a change of brackets.

see diagram http://www.staintune.com.au/exhausts/bmw/BMW_K1200RS.htm

Would not be hard to adapt if the need was there.

I am pretty sure if you talked to Staintune they would listen.

The sound of a K with a Staintune is quite awesome and puts the rice rockets in their place.

I had not noticed but the Staintune gives you a claimed 5.5hp more grunt especially around mid range 4375rpm and saves 6kg/13.2lbs.

I can imagine the shorter conrod of the K11 would really benefit from that mid range grunt addition, with more torque.

The K12 motor has longer conrods and barrels, giving it more torque and displacement and 15% more compression and has the brackets redesigned to hang in a frame rather than be the frame as in a K11.

Motronic 2.4 is slightly more fancy but still reliable 80s electronics.
