Hi everybody. I haven't been around since I sold my K1100RS and moved to an R1100RT. I always appreciated the feedback I received here, so I thought I'd ask a question. Has anyone had any experience with BMW motorcycle batteries sold on eBay? They're half the price of an OEM (BMW) battery. Question is are they any good?

Here's one example.

Any AGM battery is better than any wet cell battery so I'd say go for it. There's hundreds of different brands, the ones we most use here are the Deka brand, there's direct replacements although a little bit smaller wouldn't hurt. I use Deka AGMs in both my bikes and a ginormouse Lifeline AGM in the boat which is going on 10 years old and still as good as new. They are great.
