Today's the day we celebrate the invading of OZ by the poms. back in 1770. It's a day of eating lamb chops and drinking shed loads of beer as noted by our own Sam Kekovich see below (and yes it's parody for those without a sense of humour... ).
So I'm off to the pub to have a BBQ lunch and get plastered

drikko,
You beat me to it.
Saw it on my calendar and wanted to wish all of you on the other side of the planet a good Australia Day. Have one (or more) for me.

For whatever it's worth, my son-in-law arrived in Perth this week-end, starting work at the Cleveland Cliff mines immediately; my daughter will follow shortly.
She decided that transporting the K75 wasn't worth the effort, so now it's up to you guys in Oz to find her a bike (after she gets used to your traffic).
For them, it's the antithesis of being sent to a penal colony, but they (and I) are delighted by their opportunity.

That's awesome Larry, unfortunately they're about 5000kms from here so mightn't be able to help them with a bike. As to getting used to the traffic, where they are there isn't any, but whats there will be on the wrong side of the road!! I got used to driving on the wrong side of the road when living in Santa Cruz for a while so they should do OK _________________ K1100RS '97
