Saw the evidence on ADV. So......
Give us your impression. Curious minds want to know.
(you already know that I have the disease, so enable me further )

It's awesome if you like stupid power that is totally docile until you unleash the hounds from hell...
And that is when it is rev limited to 9000 rpm until the 600 mile service.
I think she liked it. |

John, it's amazing!!
It makes riding the K11 like pushing the Titanic through cold honey.
I still love my K1100 and always will.
It's nice to get a little taste of such a wonderful machine.
The shift assist is totally AWESOME!!!
It's better bike than I'll ever be a rider. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Traction control is a little too invasive for me. The damn front wheel won't come off the ground cuz the DTC won't let it. I guess I could turn it off. Maybe after the 600 mile service is done.

Thanks Gwen & Steve,
Funny thing about my bike disease over the past year or so.
Having the '93 K1100RS- it felt pretty fast.
The '09 Concours was FAST (but a bit, uh, overweight)
Going back to the K100RS from the Concours has been interesting since the power feels so relatively soft- not that fast at all, even at high revs.
You both are killin' me (in a good way, I think )
BTW- I'm GREEN with envy about the S1000RR in your garage, but you couldn't tell, right?

No, but I think they offer a "buy one get one free" on the day before yesterday once a year.
Better hurry. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Gwen, just showed the picture of you on the RR to Cathy
We both agree that you look more comfortable on that than on a K-RS.
(Cathy just gave apologies to Steve for that.....I'll stick to my opinion ) _________________ John & Cathy

That's funny, I feel more comfortable on the K-RS.
Maybe it's because I "know" the K-RS. :dunno _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Damn if Gwen is considered "slow" by Steve, then trying to follow Steve would be like this:

Steve refuses to ride with anyone who cannot ride their own ride.
He is gifted, talented and seriously skilled.
He will say he's 'old and slow' because he's modist.
I saw him ride a VIR and he was passing 90% of the class.
