What the hell chance do I have?

Yesterday I borrowed a huge, heavy farm trailer and drove 360+ miles, 6+ hours, over a mountain, only stopped once for gas and pee.

Purchased the bike, loaded it....and drove home. 24hrs, almost 800 miles total. The passion for motorcycling burns fiercely in my loins. (plus I didn't want to leave it on the trailer while I slept in a hotel)

Here she is.....Sabertooth.

The pick up.

The next afternoon

6778 miles. Winning!!

Cockpit...heated grips, LEDs with signal strips on the extended mirrors, oscillating headlight. Just needs a throttlemeister/throttle lock.

Beautiful construction.

Clean, ain't she? Pretty sure she'll never see dirt, canyon carver only for now.

I looked at the Campbell exhaust....1 tooth...2 teeth...Sabertooth. That's how I named her. She approves.

I'm officially in lust. Relax girl, we have many miles in our future together.

Cross one bike off the "Dream bike" list. :freaky

Hi, Dave,
Congratulations on your bike. I knew you couldn't last very long without one! Have fun. Be careful. I hope one day to stop and see you as I'm riding from El Paso to San Francisco to visit my sister.

Hmmmm.... where have I seen that before.

Think I have a used tire to fit that one also Laughing Laughing Laughing

Seriously Dave, NICE BIKE. A few years ago I test rode a green striped tiger- liked the bike a lot but the Safari graphics said NO.

That engine is supposed to be SMOOTH from what I have read and I have been eyeing (don't let Cathy see this) a 675 Daytona.

Looks like you have a GREAT looking ride there- lots of luck and happy miles!

John

Don't know how I missed your post except it's been a busy month.

That is one gorgeous Triumph - I LOVE the white. A belated cheers to you Dave, and enjoy carving up the foothills on her...
