Hey folks,
Here are a few shots of a recently acquired '93 K1100RS. I understand that Mr. Duck is somewhat familiar with the bike or at least has helped the previous owner on occasion.
Been largely away from riding since I sold my Seca Turbo in '88 to fund some hardware to get my budding computer career off the ground. That part has worked out alright and now the time has come to get back in the saddle. Looking forward to learning, tinkering, tweaking and riding.

WELCOME!
Living (somewhat?) close to FD, should be a real plus if you ever have problems with your brick.
Nice K-RS, by the way.
'93 is the best year for the brick, IMHO, since it is the last year for ABS I (easier for maintenance- hope you never need to find out why) but the first year for the fully enclosed fairing (looks good but might be a bit warm)
Good luck with it- many happy miles.

Thanks John.
I think I say a post from FD mentioning that he lives near an area called the Arboritum which is maybe 25 minutes from my house. Looking forward to meeting him.
Now if the weather around here would settle down. Read a story this morning which indicated we are in the middle of one of the coolest and wettest Aprils on record ... grrr. _________________ Lee

Hijacking the topic: down here, our year to date precipitation is .11 inches; the average ytd is 1.12. Not much in absolute terms but striking nonetheless. Wildfires all over Texas
