I don't know if any of you have seen this, but it can be a bit worrying when going for group ride outs.

I hope the Court case proves that the others in a group could not be held responsible for the actions of any individual rider, this is a crazy case and shows how stupid some authorities can be.

I read the brief article....there's no facts about what happened other than the recorded deaths and charges against others in the group. I hope more information about the charges come about. I wonder what constitutes 'dangerous driving' charges.

The leader of the group had been charged with causing death by dangerous driving as it is felt the others were speeding to keep up with him, thus forcing the others to make very unwise decisions, they have all been charged with the same offense now. There is a Facebook group set up to give these 5 people some support, apparently they were all arrested in a dawn raid!!! The group is called 'Support the 5 Bikers - North Yorks Police Judicial Disgrace' Lots more info on there, I think it is a terrible decision to prosecute and just shows what a mad world we live in at the moment.

Not many details, ie how were they responsible. As always I take responsibility for my own behaviour when in a group, if I can't/don't want to keep I won't. There's no need to be embarrassed, I never have been good at taking notice of peer pressure fortunately. Except when it came to drinking games of course.

Will be interesting to see if the case gets up.
