This summer will be the 10th anniversary of my my wife's run in with the big C. She won. We were in our mid 20s and she was given a sub-5% chance to live more than 2 years and little to no chance of having children. We have three kick-ass kids and a decade of history since then.
Big finger to the big C.
I have since watched several extended family members succumb to cancer. Not fun.
On April Fools Day of all days...I received a call from my best friend. You guessed it...Cancer. His thyroid is pulsing with the shit. Vascular and all that.
Dear, Cancer...Fuck off already!
Sincerely,
[***REDACTED*** Sorry if you missed it.] _________________ Niemand

Fuck Cancer.
Both my parents are fighting it, and 3 of my 4 grandparets died of it.
I'm gonna stop now before I get really livid. _________________ www.tidewaterforge.com |

Two cousins of mine died from cancer, both in their forties and had kids...
I am afraid cancers are increasing. Chemicals, cell phones, wi-fi? _________________ I am not a number, I am a free man.

I lost my oldest son in '04 to it(he was only 19), my maternal grandmother in '83.
My mom fought it and is winning the battle.
My wife kicked it's but last year. _________________ Ride safe.

My dad beat prostrate cancer last year at 78, but my best mate is still battling brain cancer at 52.
Statistics show in fact that cancer is less than it was, but people are in general living longer ie not dieing from things other than cancer they were 100 years ago. Therefore the big C appears worse.
Condolences to all that have lost loved ones.
Just proves you should go riding at every opportunity. _________________ K1100RS '97

I retired at 62 in March 2005. Diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in November same year. Went through the whole process (6 three week cycles of chemo, 35 days of chest radiation and 15 days of brain radiation).
Caught before spreading elsewhere. Been doing OK and working on making it through year six.
Cancer and treatment is a bitch, but I don't dwell on it and am pretty OK.
