Btw where did you find your K-bike?
K bikes are from a temperate zone, Australia is tropical! _________________ Living with a German builds character.

Uh, not all of it; just like not all US is arctic My part is definitely not tropical - think desert-like country, little rain, temperature ranges between 2C and 45C, low humidity. On the other hand, where drikko lives is definitely sub-tropical. _________________ David, owner of:

Mm, Texas = around 268,581 square miles; guess we could fit that in South Australia and have a bit to spare (we are 402,903 square miles). And we're only the fourth largest state in Oz
Probably we could fit Texas up north in the real desert country and not even notice it was there. _________________ David, owner of:

We take it as a compliment to have our state compared to a continent _________________ Living with a German builds character.

Hey, Texas is a state of the US of A - South Australia is a state of Australia. South Oz is no more a continent that Texas. At least according to conventional geography.
Of course, it may be that you are confusing Australia with Austria - common error.
If you want to be compared to a continent, then AU is around 2,941,299 square miles, or not a lot less than the 3,794,101 square miles Wonkypedia alleges for the US of A. Of course, we're just an island... _________________ David, owner of:

Bit over 130,000Km. It is an ex police bike, repainted from white, that I picked up nearly two years ago for a comparative song. The police put around 100,000Km on it between 1996 and 2000 and the next owner(s) only put about 20,000Km between 2000 and 2009. _________________ David, owner of:

I was riding with my daughter when she spotted ours in a parking lot around Christmas 2010 (Look Dad!).
It met the girlfriend's minimum motorcycle requirement (Red! How convenient!) and the price was right. So with only 60k kilometers and some freshening up (paint, small oil leaks and a few fasteners) looks like we have a great bike for the duration! _________________ Living with a German builds character.
