The first one comes up black.

The second one shows an eagle fixing it's nest.

It knows what other sites you've been to recently. (Data mining's a bitch, eh?)

That first one is our local TV station and the eagles are at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. They've had a nest there for seven or eight years. The third and last chick just hatched.

If you go to the gardens you can see the nest (from a distance) and often see the parents flying around, quite magnificent creatures.

It's pretty cool that seeing Bald Eagles is getting to be a pretty common scene around here, they're everywhere. They and the Brown Pelicans have made quite come back since DDT was outlawed back in the 70's.

They're like seagulls up in BC. (Lots and lots of them.)

I've seen them years ago when living along the Missouri River in South Dakota. And too, down here in Texas. They certainly can call this continent home.

Great....our national symbol is a rat. All hail the rat !
Fine with me since the rat is one smart kritter.

In some respects they are worse than seagulls. They leave big-arsed poops on the deck at my cabin. Mad

Out on the Washington coast they get very large. Seen some beach hiking that could carry away a small child. Shocked (or poodle hopefully)
