I've searched around and now that Widder is out of business the only location for this product is at Iron Butt store for $38.

Just wondering if anyone has one that they no loonger need OR

the female connetor that connects to the Widder vest itself?

I pulled on the cord , yeah dumb, and pulled the wire out of the connectore. Although there are small screws there they are so tight that I mangeled one trying to loosen it.

So I either find a connector that I can work with or a whole new cord.

Any help?

Thanks,

Mike

What does it look like?
Post a pic.

Maybe you can repair it yourself.
After repair perhaps take the jacket to a seemtress to put it back together

I'm kind of in a similar situation, one of my Gerbing connectors has started to melt so I'm looking at trying to replace it before it gets any worse.

I've got a complete switch cord with a BMW power connector on one end and the Widder female connector on the other. If this will solve your problem PM me with your mailing address and I'll get it to you. All you'll need to do is buy me a beer if we should ever meet, maybe two beers. Laughing Laughing

Regards, Paul

PS.. I've also got a spare male Widder connector, if anyone can us it post up.

scott, are you referring to the part that goes from the battery to your equipment? if so i may have a couple laying around. the bike came pre-wired so when i got the jacket and gloves i never used them. i'll try to find them.

No, I'm talking about the male end coming out of the jacket and the female ends that come off of the 2 circuit temp controller.

The jacket and gloves still heat, I'm just afraid of the day when I unplug the jacket, the internals of the plug are going to come apart.

I have tried to repair the CORD...but the little screw on the female connector will not move and I just mangle them.

It has noting to do with the vest.
