I have a 93 K110RS and when I ride it the temperature needle is a little less than midway across the dial at normal operating temp. When stopped in traffic for less than 5 minutes the needle climbs slowly to the point that the fan cuts in. The outside temp is around 70 degrees F. Isn't this a little fast to be warming up to the point of initiating the fan? Any info will be appreciated.

I've noticed that the ambient temperature has little to do with how fast it heats up when idling at the lights. So yours is all good.

I've been stuck in traffic at a relativitly cool 62 degrees and it kicks in.

Prepare for summer now!!!

Buy the dual ABS switch from Drake. Up is normal ABS switch operation, down makes the fan come on and stay on until you swtich it off.

Sounds tricky, but if I'm explaining it correctly it simply grounds out the relay & turns the fan on. Suer easy install.
I only worry about it when the ambient air temp is 80 degrees or hotter.
Then if I get stuck in traffic I just turn the fan on & the temp guage does not go above 5/8 on the guage.

Clear traffic, turn it off.

Did an auxiliary fan switch mod on my previous K-RS. What a difference.

To make it part of the stock switch install would be even better.

Nah, If I'm giving a cigar to a friend, I'd rather give a Montecristo. Back when I smoked cigars (and lived in Europe), I smoked one. It was the best cigar I'd ever smoked. I HAVE given a couple of them to Ted. I think he enjoyed them. Unfortunately, I can't get them any more, as I haven't gone to Mexico for a couple of years because of the drug violence.
