Received my Moly60 today. well packaged & totally intact & unmolested.
You are a real star & I deffo owe you one.
I just hope Cathy hasn't stabbed you with the butter knife you used to package it !!

We've got a nice community here, & the biking community in general is such a large friendly place.

I actually feel like singing so come on guys & gals lets join hands & start singing, I can feel a love fest coming !
(that means you aswell at the back F.D, stand abit closer Shoganai.)

Here we go(holding hands.)........
"I'd like to build a world a home
and furnish it with love.
Grow apple trees and honey bees
and snow white turtle doves.

I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony.
I'd like to hold it in my arms,
and keep it company

I'd like to see the world for once
all standing hand in hand.
And hear them echo through the hills
for peace throughout the land.

It's the real thing
what the world wants today,
That's the way it'll stay
with the real thing.

I'd like to teach the world to sing "

Very Happy

Excellent!!!!

Be sure to check on the proper way to apply the moly. It should only be applied to the engine output shaft- NOT the friction plate splines!

And each of the output shaft spline "valleys" should not be completely filled.

Have fun!

John

Huh? Did you mean the transmission input shaft splines? You can put as much on those as you want. Anything that gets squished out spins off aft of the clutch fiction surface due to the collar on the clutch plate. I goo the heck out of the transmission input splines.

Correct as usual FD. I thought I had read the moderate application in one of Paul Glave's tech articles. Guess not. Must be my "old timer's disease" kicking in again.

Now back to Andrew's hippy love fest Laughing

I wouldn't be surprised if you did read that in a Glaves article. I used to be of the same mindset. It wasn't until this year when I was putting the K75 Frankenbike together and took a closer look at things that I realized that the spinoff wouldn't hit the friction surface because of the clutch plate collar. Maybe it was even designed that way. Who knows?

Good to hear practical experience on a spline lube.

Wonder how my departed K11RS is shifting these days- I did the Glaves prescribed lubing. Maybe it's not downshifting so well by now.

Have to keep this in mind for the future.

Hey, wait a minute!... John, are you taking orders for products to Europe? If (and when) you are, sign me in! Laughing

This side of the Atlantic seems to be too far for some US companies. I could use some help. Sign me in! Wink

I'm actually from England (as is my wife & 3 boys, though all my grandchildren are Scottish born.)
Bricks are plentiful, depends on how much you want to spend, went through Germany a few years back, they don't hang about on those autobahns ! Really easily driving/riding through Europe nowadays, basically like one big country with varying degrees of oddness.(& NO that's not near Loch Ness !)
I'm over a 100 miles south of Aberdeen but if you need a stop off you can always give me a shout.

BTW ADMIN how come I seem to be the only "Mad Brick Rider" whereas most other are simply "Flying Brick Riders"?
Is it because I'm "SPECIAL" ?
Mr. Green

Very funny Scotty... now beam up my clothes!!!

Probably that's restricted to Scots for the 'mad' part Very Happy

But really, it is based on your total number of posts.
