I installed a set of Heli bars on my K1100RS and the throttle and clutch cables are a bit too short for my taste (brake line is too - but that is remedied with a Spiegler braided cable 3" longer).

My question is if there are known OEM cables that will give me the extra length I need. Would the K1100LT cables work or would they be too long? Do I need to go custom?

mine worked OK with the stock cables, just did some re routing.

It was several years ago so I don't remember for sure.
