I find that people that own and maintain motorcycles are people that are 'fixers and makers' of all kinds of things.
I think most of us have some engineer genes in us.
I'll start.
I made this today because the POS spike that came originally attached broke.

I'll show you our house next week. We built it- does that count?
In the meantime, this will have to do. Before we had a tractor mounted snowblower, I built this to plow our 1/2 mile of private road.
(BTW, in the pictures it is mounted on the one vehicle that I should have never sold- a Dodge diesel pickup, aka Cummins Turbo Diesel- hence the SugarHillCTD.)

I designed and built the deck, pergola, and the chairs. Moslty out of economic neccesity and partly out of creativity. You can't see it in this photo, but the front of the deck has a wide curve to it.
Those pictures are about ten years old, the landscaping has grown in quite a bit since then.

Especially if the goldfish were replaced with barramundi !! Come to think of it, just chuck a couple of suitably sized barra in and they would probably take care of removing the goldfish without any external influence needed _________________ David, owner of:

Hey folks, I think the good Doctor has us all beat, big time.
Gui, I am ALWAYS impressed with surgeons in your field.

I'd have to agree with that, having been there done that as a recipient... _________________ K1100RS '97

Yeah I worked as an OR nurse for a few years, participated on more than a few Neuro surgeries. The complexity and skill those guys have is mind-boggling.
....which is why when I met Gui I was just standing there with my mouth open like a teenage girl meeting Justin Beiber.
There are really many cases where they get "in there" and have to be creative and make shit up as they go along....working under a microscope manipulating nerves that are smaller than a human hair.
Make no mistake, he is humble and reserved, but our good Brazilian doctor is the best of the best of the best.
.....why he owns a brick I'll never know.

Hey Gui, That's a pretty complex install! Now either that was from nearly 20 years ago, or the clock needs fixing on the XRay machine!! _________________ K1100RS '97
