Hi All,

I'm trying to match up the K11 fuel filter with a locally produced equiv.
We dont have the choice of alternatives available in the US/Europe.

One paramameter I've not found on the OE filter is how many microns they filter to ? ( I'm not sure of the correct teminology Question )
Apart from dimentions, max pressure, flow rate,etc...are there any other filter parameters I need to verify with an alternate unit ?

Thanks

I could ship you one.

The cost of shipping would be high, but it is an option.

Thanks for the offer.
I save cash on filters by ordering from Motobins in the UK prior to familly visiting us.

We've got a few good filter manufacturers here, once I get the info together i'm sure a suitable filter will be available, then i'll pass the info on to other k riders out here.

Very Happy
Good luck with you search. Wink

I know the oil filter for a '00 Lexus ES-300 will work on the K-bike, I am currently using a Mobil-1 M1-102 filter and have a Bosch 72161/3330 on tap for the next change Smile As far as brands, I like the Bosch and Mobil-1 - generally you get what you pay for so steer clear of the really cheap ones. Here is a page with some good info:

Bosch 72161s are really cheap - pricewise. $3.59 each at Rock Auto.

They are about $6 at Autozone - I was thinking more along the line of the $1.50 STP or Fram ones Smile
