to Startron additive.
I have been using Stabil for years. First the red and then the blue-green. I tried some of the Startron after the bad tank of gas I got and the bike has been running smoother than it ever has, even after changing to the irridium plugs.
I used it at the initial starting dose and then for the next four tankfuls I used it at the maintenance dose. I am getting approximately 3mpg better gas mileage than I was and the idle is now purring without the little skip that it used to have.
I would recommend putting a couple of tankfuls through and see if it helps.

I haven't seen a change in oil consumption good or bad but my bike uses very little oil to begin with. _________________ Rich
