I rode up Highway 2 over Stevens Pass yesterday to go fishing with a friend of mine, his daughter and her grandfather. Here's the LT at a place called, oddly enough, Fish Lake:

And here's my friend's daughter reeling in a trout on her officially licensed Barbie spinning rod:

I decided to shoot some riding pics on the way home:

Since it's still a little chilly going over the pass I was wearing thick gloves and right around that last bend there I dropped my camera at 70 mph trying to get it back into my pocket and by the time I got back to it it had been run over a time or two. Shocked

At least it died doing something it loved. Laughing

My Digital Elph SD1000 pretty much looks like that now too, but it still takes perfect pictures. LOL.

Too bad about the camera. I leave mine in my tank bag. If I'm going to be taking pictures while riding I have a lanyard around my neck attached to the camera and long enough not to bother me while riding.

I do a bit of fishing but have never caught a fish. However I have learnt how to catch a fish without fail, I rig up the f-rod, bait it up, cast it in the water, hand the f-rod to my daughter and hey presto in will come a big fish. If I do the same and don't hand it to my daughter, I can sit there and reload till the cows come home and won't even get a bite. NOT SURE WHY!!!

Great photos thanks Smile

At least your drinking isn't interrupted by constantly having to catch fish! But I guess the slight downside is that you have to get your own beer as the beer wench is catching fish.

<waiting for drikko to explain that he has to get the fish off the hook anyway>
