Not very technical but.....I've lost one of the rubber sleeves that holds my right hand sidepanel on (at the front) and have used tape wrapped around the spigot as a temporary measure. Have to keep popping it back on. Is it just me and my bike or are these panels a bit of a strange fit?

Thanks,

Ivan

Tape around the spigot is my permanent fix. Rolling Eyes I find the sidepanels are held on nicely by my knees.

Use some rubber vacume tubing.
It works better and looks better than tape.

Once you find something that works well, other then tape, put some adhesive on it and it ain't going anywhere. Smile

I had the same problem, use some fuel line, Take you panel in to the auto parts store that has bulk fuel line (I dont remember what size i used) and cmpare you clip size to the line, you should only need maybe a inch or so and that works great for me, Since it was such a small piece and i go to that auto parts place when i need things, they didnt even charge me..

Yep, used some similar tubing from a car acessory shop. It now nicely gently snaps on and I am free to do what I like with my knees! Thanks all.
