Someday we have GOT to get the good Doctor to a Hungry K11OG weekend.
So far Gwen gets my vote for taking the best action picture and the subject was Darryl....
BTW, he is a really smooth and fast rider. Easy to follow, if you are able to... _________________ John & Cathy

these are essentially in reverse order of how they happened due to how photobucket uploaded them. whatever.
anyway, the first day on the road we get to the hotel and peter says "i think we could have done it all in one day." within the first minute of being in the hotel room he has passed out on the bed.
remember me busting up my throttle lock (and mike then fixing it)? well that was not the first piece of minor wrenching done on the trip. that happened before even leaving my parents' house -- peter's handle bars were not tight enough so he took an allen key and a cheater bar and fixed that!
i really was happy to be on the trip, i just don't take good pictures with an intentional smile.
in all we went through a bunch of gas. peter's bike used maybe a little over a quart of oil in the about 2200 total miles traveled. mine used less than half a quart. can't complain about that! _________________ (formerly) 1993 k1100rs |

I took very few pix this year - but I did more riding and hanging out...
Audi tightens the steering head bearings while Gwen distracts Dave and Jim.
This part of Virginia is Christmas tree country.
Rich has a low fat meal...
My sammich probably wasn't very heart healthy - but there wasn't much of it.
Audi tucks into his dessert. He let us help him with it - we let him live... _________________ Jim

Then came the morning we had to say "Ride safe"...
For a few days we set aside to wallow in our motorcyclye maddness and passion over food, drinks, wheels and roads.
These moments in time cannot express the love I felt in the hugs or the joy I had standing on the pegs roostering up the gravel road.
This song was in my head as I watched you all ride off.

To each of you, seek peace in all things and ride with great joy.

Paul made those because his knees get cold in the winter.

Thanks everyone for posting the pictures.
Helps me cope with missing the ride / event.
And no break downs? Only a missing bolt?
And all those BFD's lined up! OTG would be, well be, oh never mind.
See you all someday down the road.... _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Excellent pictures by all! Wish I could have made it as planned, but it was nice hooking up with New Hampshire and New Zealand crew prior to the event. Hell, I even made into one of the pics! (Thanks, John)
I will have more time to plan for next year, and hope to see those that make it to HL2 (Hungry Lobster II).
Gwen, great action shots! _________________ 1994 K1100RS

AWESOME PICS INDEED!
Is there anywhere I should be looking for a hi-res version of that group shot?
@Shoganai: You may not be satisfied with the outcome, but I've no complaints at all. You've supplied my first shots of me on moving bike, including my new facebook profile pic. THANKS!
