The manual doesn't explain on how to remove the radio. Since we stripped my buddys crash bike we still have the radio in the fairing box. Is there a way to lift it out so we can disconnect the wiring??

It's a pity people posts links for instructions. When they go stale the post is worthless. Links should only be used for things only needed at the moment, like ebay auctions.

Well, things change in over 9years.... and nothing is forever.
Look at what has happened to internet forums when Photobucket changed their photo hosting rules. Even on this forum as it does not support direct photo hosting, you will find many broken/not really useful threads due to no more pictures from Photbucket, or in this case web sites that changed.

Here's the new page address for the previous link:

Thank you. What these forums written in PHP need is a PHP tool to run through the database and audit older posts, marking them for some sort of action if the links no longer work. Perhaps just a note to the original author that it needs looking at? And if the original author is not around, mark for review and deletion.

Try typing the exact same answer a zillion times for a question that gets asked over and over and over. It gets old fast.

I got really tired of it so I created a whole site for K bikes. Here's the LINK to it: http://bit.ly/kbikemandm

Nice. Thanks for the link. Smile

And yes, I know what you mean. I've run forums for some 30-something years now, starting with Fido BBS' on phone modems in the 80's.

I started computing with 150 baud modems back in 72. Used to do some computing stuff back in the early days with a nerd who was a couple of years ahead of me at the middle/high school I attended - his name was Bill Gates.

Then you probably remember the only true way to prove you are a bonafide hacker -- logging in by whistling into an acoustic coupler. Laughing

Acoustic coupler? Dang, I haven't heard that term since the days of rotary phones. Laughing
