Hi Guys,
I know there on a number of guys from WI, so before I go completely berzerk...
What are you paying for liability insurance this year?
Just got a missive from Dairyland and I ain't happy.
History-6 yrs ago the honda SW 500 was $55 per yr. Last year went up to 70..OK. Then I got the K1100LT in June and they wanted $118...well, OK.
Now they want $478 for the two of them!! What the %$%&! Geico says 213 and progressive 172--but only 50K/100K. The SW will be sold but still.
I think from what Dairyland says our great Gov Dorkle says it should be 100/300.
What have you experienced? I just don't don't understand what is going on. I'm out in the boondocks with no violations or accidents, and a 775 credit rating. If this life in WI so be it. But I sure as heck don't like it.
Rant mode off.
Any feed back appreciated.
Thanks

Mike,
It sounds like it's time to switch. I have Progressive Insurance, full coverage on the bricks and liability only on the Honda. I don't recall the exact coverages but with my 19 year old son (1 ticket) also listed as a rider of the bikes I pay under $500 for the year. _________________ Doug

When I did some shopping a while back it seemed as though Progressive was the only one that gave decent discounts for multiple bikes. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

All right, guess the days of low rates are over. Think it has to do with the medical part. Too many tavern to tavern guys getting wiped out. Will have to shop around more.
But paying twice the rate for the bike vs. my car is real galling.
Such is the current life.
Thanks
