I've just got a 1992 K1100LT (the one with the 2 pressure modulator
cylinders). The motorcycle was abandoned for more than two years in a
garage. After a complete check up now is again on the road, but I've the
problem described in the title:

both the ABS lights are blinking continuosly even if the ABS system works
properly on front & rear wheel

Battery is new and voltage is OK
There are no fault codes
When firmly applying the brakes to lock the wheel the ABS works properly.

In few words, everything is OK, but the lights are blinking.

Suggestions, experience?

Can't help you sort your problem, but welcome to the board. Nice looking K! I'm sure someone will come up with a solution.

I guess you've tried disconnecting the battery?

If everything is working properly, a couple pieces of black electrical tape will take care of the lights until you get things sorted out.

Brag.
Check the battery voltage. The ABS system will give these symptoms if the battery voltage is low. If the battery voltage is good, clean the battery connections thoroughly. If that does not resolve the problem, there is a Tech Sticky that addresses ABS problems:

I second checking the battery voltage. I've ridden bikes with ABS faults but took the bike's word for it and didn't bother testing.

I will cover the lights with black electrical tape; at this time I've no other choice Wink

Added:

"Brag" is just the abbreviation of my surname; 40 years ago someone started to call me "Brag" and so it became what in Italy we call "soprannome" Very Happy
