I have a Signal Dynamics Diamond Star Headlight Modulator that came off the bike I rebuilt and I don't plan on using it. This is the one with Heads up alert and a separate on off switch. It comes with the installation instructions.

Kidding. From their instructions it says "This feature allows your headlight to momentarily modulate for 2.5 seconds whenever the horn button is pressed, providing both visual and audible conspicuity for your motorcycle".

I wondered about that, the modulators I have do have the feature. Thankfully I haven't had to use it yet.
