I prefer ridding on two lane roads but sometimes find the need to "jump on" the Indiana Toll Road when I'm in a time crunch.

I recently got one of those electronic devices (know as EZ Pass, etc) that I have mounted in my truck. I have this little white box registered to my other vehicle and to my LT. My question is how best to use this device while on two wheels?

I'm not hip to the idea of Velcroing it to my windshield or keeping it in my pocket until I ride up to the gate.

Has anyone found success in mounting one of these devices on their body or bike?

Let's assume I don't consider blowing past the gate and outrunning the cops an option Wink

Hi Stu...

Here in NH, the EZ-Pass office ( right on the highway ) has a velcro closure arm band that they will give you. It is supposed to be used on the left upper shoulder area. I have used it BUT find that it is not 100%.. maybe it would be different with you ? Some of my H-D friends have the EZ mounted to the left hand mirror front side with a large elastic band.

Good luck..............// Ernie-NH

I keep mine in my uper left map pocket on my jacket and it allows it to trip the system. I've already had it in the right fairing pocket (forgot to get it out)and after I stopped (gate's on the lane's) as I started to reach to open the lid the light came on and away I went.

Map pocket usually works. Whats wrong with the Velcro? Aesthetics?

Yeah, I didn't want to put tape on the windshield.
I guess I'll first try it inside my jacket pocket and see if it works there.

It will be great no having to fumble for change anymore.

I tried the map pocket of my tank bag, but it would not trip it soon enough. One of my buddies put his on a dedicated handlebar mounted stalk, like a radar detector. I still have not come up with an elegant solution. I too did not like the velcro idea, but I may wind up that way.

I painted my EZ pass flat black and have it velcroed behind the winshield on the fairing. Use industrial strength velcro; it will not come off, even at high speed (100mph). It works fine and it isn't easy to see.

I used the scotch loks (or whatever comes with the ezpass and stuck it on the shield. No big deal...
