Spent over 4 hours clearing the 14"-16" snow dumping from HL Central today.
BTW Jim SC- the new 3pth snowblower works great. Once the snow is much beyond a foot or so I do a 2/3 width cut.
But I would definitely be riding on 2 wheels...........
Now, how many days until spring??

1 would be too many for me. 
Highs only being single digit numbers above 0, much less the lows being double digits below 0 are getting old, fast.

Yeah, today sucked. It was like 70 and partly cloudy when I went running errands and lane-splitting today. 
Unfortunately I'll be back to 50 and rain in Seattle by the end of the week.

I don't understand any of this. Snow - what's that? Below zero - what's that? Oh, do you mean below freezing (Celsius scale)? I've seen that, even here.

i'm in kc, had a friend from iowa down this weekend, and have had to shovel more snow from my drive way than i have ever seen in my nearly 25 years hear, so i'm getting a kick out of these replies ...

I THOUGHT it was something like that. Luckily I (usually) have to drive or ride a ways to see it. I saw the remains of some while riding 54 miles out of town yesterday, to a cafe which makes the best hamburgers! Others on this list, unfortunately, apparently step into it when they open their front doors and have to shovel it away so they can get their cages out of the driveway and on to work. What a waste of time and energy! I'm glad I don't have that problem. Of course, I have seen 115 F in the summer (rare - usually doesn't get above 107 or 108).

Hello all....
OK "SugarHill" John... they can make fun if the want, BUT when the pole shifts and El Paso finds itself in the Arctic and we in NH are in the tropics, who will have the last laugh then ?
Snow is currently up to the sills of my barn windows ( appx 4.5 feet ), bikes are in the barn snoozing comfortably until SPRING just a mere 87 days from now !! That answer the question ??

Sheesh, you reckon you've got problems with a bit of snow!! We've just got back from 2 weeks at the beach and the grass has grown about 2 feet!!!!  Heat, rain and stifling humidity will do that !
Don't panic though it took 3 ice cold beers to get it mown......

snow, eh?
Here on the Keweenaw of Michigan were at 130" and counting ...... amounts to over 2 ft on the ground, I don't think I've seen a pavement strip in 2 weeks.
I'm thinkin' of inventing some sort of kevlar snowchains I can put on Dr. Beemer .......
Some boys I know load their wheels up on trailers in Feb and roll south until the snow stops, then drop the buggies and bike it south to the Gulf Coast................ sure sounds good about now

John IV (the Monster rider) and I are doing that on his Spring college vacation week in mid-March. Loading up two bikes and heading south until we can park the trailer at a motel and do some day trips.

The teacher asked the class if they could use the word "contagious" in a sentance. Little Johnny raised his hand and said "Last week when we had the snowstorm, my father took the snowblower and blew all the snow into my neighbor's driveway. He then came back in the house laughing, saying it will take the contagious to shovel up that mess."

I sanded a path about a foot wide and 100 feet long across the glacier in front of my barn and crept down the loose sand to the highway and pointed my bike toward SugarHill. Only made it part way. 12" forecast for Wednesday.

Was sunny and 60 here over the weekend. Great weather for Feb in the PNW. Went up to the cabin and dug up some fresh butter clams.
