man, makes me wish i could get out to one of those test courses. supposedly bmw's in south carolina (or wherever the x series of suvs are manufactured) is pretty sweet.

Looks like the Lee Parks program. Only that track looks nothing like the parking lot that I took it on. Wish we had something (anything) like that out east. That RS looks right at home (bags and all)

It was fun riding my new R100RT, complete with bags and whatever else I had bungeed on, around the Nurburgring in 1981. I think it cost DM4 per lap. It was great, but we had to watch out for the Golf GTI's there for tire tests. They were fast, and the drivers knew what they were doing.
