was a little brisk. It was 26 here at the house when I left for my 32 mile commute into Spokane but dry. I did put on the electric vest, winter riding gloves and insulated riding pants and coat. This after noon was going to be 50ish and sunny so I didn't want to miss that. I didn't even come close to a chill until I got to work and peeled off the riding gear. It was 19 there. Very Happy
Not to many of these commutes left this year. Crying or Very sad

I had 24°F on Monday morning for my commute. Mine takes about 25 minutes and I have to admit it was damn cold by the time I got to the office. Going to have to look into some gear to keep this up. Right now all I have is the thin liner for my mesh jacket and a pair of insulated gloves. Oh, and wool socks. Laughing

We have been below freezing most mornings here. Riding in the cold isn't a problem for me- lots of cold weather gear, heated jacket liner and gloves plus the Aeroflow windshield.

But TRACTION can be questionable since mornings are damp and frost is everywhere. Would really rather not bend it into the first corner and find out..... Shocked Shocked

Sorry to hear Sean.

On an unrelated note, I did about 400 miles this week...patients all over Brooklyn and Manhattan. Thank the babyjesus I had the bike just for traffic alone.

I think I am getting older but I am getting less tolerant to cold...good thing I have good gear.

Oh yeah the new Garmin 500 is fkn mint.

If you don't have a Garmin, you're doing it wrong. Plus at 250$ with 6" RAM mount and 3 modes (walking, road and marine) not to mention totally waterproof...looks like Garmin finally bridged the gap between their 600+ dollar top of the line moto models.

Full report on the Garmin to follow.

Sorry fellows,

My morning commute yesterday was 123 miles. I did a service call in Waco, TX. Started out at 60 degrees and was 80 in the heat of the day. (can we say that in November) Smile

Well, we hit 68 yesterday and supposed to hit 72 today.

If anyone is interested there's a Garmin Zumo 550 on IBMWR for 425 with some extra acc.
