In an effort to offend the LT faithful: anyone ever tried puting K75 C bars on a K11LT? Love the bike hate the ape hanger position. I'll take my beating and answers off the air.

I don't see why not.
You'll probably need to switch to RS cables and brake line however.

K11LT? Ape hanger? What do you mean? Has someone altered your K? My R12C had sort of an ape hanger thing going on, but none of my K bikes have.

well,I either need (would like) to alter the bars or shorten my arms. I'm an old (age wise too) RS guy that likes the protection but not the position of the LT, looking for a middle ground. And yeah they still remind me of ape hangers

My arms or my handlebars? Actually they are just the stock 1994 KLT bars, I just like more reach and not so high.
